The Royal Wedding and Supporting Hugh's Fish Fight

We have all been really busy at the Feathers, hence not getting around to updating the website before now.

The Royal Wedding was a real event here at the pub with great local support. We wrapped the pub in red, white and blue bunting and all staff made a substantial effort to make the whole day enjoyable, whilst we were serving free tasters and nibbles. We ended the festivities with an evening disco.  Thanks to all those who joined in.

The Feathers also have since early April jointly supported Hugh's Fishfight with local fish monger G&K Sanders.  On Saturday 14th May we invited local people to an event in our garden, and provided wine tastings and an impressive fish tasting menu. 

Many people supported our event which was all about raising awareness of the campaign and encoraging people to try sustainable fish.   A big thanks  to the Chefs, Mike at G&K Sanders and April and Ian from Regency Wines.
